About this kayak

Born from Crescent's paddling heritage, FarSide is designed as a complete system balancing efficiency, tracking, stability, comfort, and adaptability.

The hull pairs an aggressive Ax Bow with kayak-first Channel Chutes, a compressed midship, added volume along the outside edges, a low-profile design, sharp stern keel exit, Kiss-Off Channels, rudder compatibility, and a replaceable skid plate.

A low-profile paddle-specific seat, adjustable Sealect Designs footrails, self-bailing deck, center console with Ketch X-Atrak LT rail, integrated storage, and pre-installed foot-steering routing create a connected, versatile cockpit. The aluminum powder-coated seat frame has a webbed seat strap with stainless cam buckle and thigh-engagement seat pitch.

Bow storage features an American-made two-part premium touring hatch with rubber seal rim, safety lanyard, and full-length internal storage. The stern tankwell uses bungees and stainless cam straps and includes a recess for an 8-inch hatch, 4-bolt motor mount landing, Power Pole stern landing, steering-cable access for motors and rudders, and factory rudder mounting/pre-plumbed internals (rudder kit sold separately).

Molded details include bow-hatch drainage slots, rod grooves, dual storage behind the seat, scalloped side rails, spray rail, and rod-butt recesses. Made of Aquatuf rotomolded polyethylene. Designed, molded, and assembled in the USA.
