About the YakAttack 13x16 ShortStak Upgrade Kit - Black

The YakAttack ShortStak Upgrade Kit adds a second layer of quick-access storage on top of a BlackPak Pro. It is not a stand-alone box—it replaces the lid of a new or existing 13x16 BlackPak Pro.

Construction matches the BlackPak Pro at about 40% of the original height. The bottom edge of the ShortStak side panels is angled to match the BlackPak opening for the same water-shedding fit as the original lid. Heavy-duty hinges and support straps limit overtravel of the larger top compartment. Interior depth is 4.25" across all ShortStak sizes. Every panel uses the GridLoc 2D mounting platform with molded screw bosses for accessories inside and outside.

Includes four ShortStak side panels, one bottom panel, four rubber bumpers, one pair of hinges, one pair of ShortStak catches, one pair of latches, one pair of straps, and stainless steel assembly hardware. Does not include a lid (uses components from your BlackPak Pro). Requires components from a 13x16 BlackPak Pro. Only one ShortStak is recommended per BlackPak Pro. Attaches to the top (not bottom). Note: adding a ShortStak eliminates rod holders on the hinged side of the BlackPak Pro.
