YakAttack DropShot Anchor Reel

About the YakAttack DropShot Anchor Reel

The DropShot Anchor Reel is a compact, dependable anchoring solution for anglers who demand simplicity, durability, and precise control on the water. Whether you're fishing light current, wind, or structure, it makes deploying and retrieving your anchor smooth and effortless.

Built around an anti-reverse clutch and sealed bearing system, the DropShot performs reliably in both freshwater and saltwater. The variable-drag system lets you feather your anchor's descent for complete control over deployment speed, and integrated positive spool pressure helps prevent backlashing. The open spool housing promotes airflow and faster drying of your anchor line.

The included 50 ft of 1/8" marine-grade polyester cord features YakAttack's signature black and orange color combination with an integrated reflective tracer for visibility in low light. The crank handle adjusts to three lengths, so you can customize leverage and rotation radius, and the shorter settings save your knuckles when the reel is mounted beside your kayak's frame seat.

Designed to fit a wide range of modern fishing kayaks, the DropShot comes stock with a flat track mounting base and includes an optional 45-degree angled base. It also integrates seamlessly with the YakAttack LeverLoc Anchor Trolley system for a complete anchoring solution.

Constructed from UV-stabilized, marine-grade polymers for years of dependable service in harsh marine environments. Made in the USA and backed by the YakAttack Built for Life Guarantee.
